Wipro operates in a highly competitive market place. As a part of Team Wipro employees come in contact with competition in some way or the other at the market place. In today’s market, merit is becoming the only differentiator. And hence, we do unto others only what we would have them do unto us.
Our policy outlines that Wipro shall compete only in an ethical and legitimate manner. It avoids all actions that are anti-competitive or otherwise contrary to laws that govern competitive practices in the marketplace. As Wipro’s business interests are spread across the world, Wipro may be subject to competition laws of various jurisdictions. Wipro is committed to comply with the relevant competition laws of all such jurisdictions.
And towards this Wipro and its employees shall not indulge in acts which illegally prevent or distort competition like entering into unauthorized agreements with competitors about any matter relating to competition between a company and its competitor, and that could affect prices and constitute illegal price–fixing prohibited under the Competition laws, monopolise trade, refusal of dealing with designated customers or suppliers or any acts perceived as Industrial espionage, threats or coercion.
Wipro expects that while recruiting a person who has worked for a competitor, the employee ensure that he/she does not disclose any information that the competitor may treat as ‘trade secret’.
