Wipro Infotech, the India, Middle East and Asia Pacific IT Business Unit of Wipro Ltd, has bagged a contract from FamilyCredit.The scope of the contract includes managing company's IT Infrastructure and applications across India. FamilyCredit, a part of Societe Generale, a major global financial powerhouse has aggressive plans to set up branch offices across India.
The contract involves end user support for all the branches in the country and comprehensive Datacenter Operations Management across multiple technologies including Oracle, Cisco, Checkpoint & Microsoft. Services will be delivered using a hybrid delivery model combining onsite and remote services through Wipro's GSMC centre in Mysore.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Thandava Murthy T D, Chief Executive - Professional Services Division, Wipro Infotech, said, "It has always been Wipro's endeavour to bring in the best practices in managed services to all our customers and we will ensure that FamilyCredit benefits immensely from our quality practices.
