Our attempt is to create an ecologically sustainable organization and business. As we move forward on this path, we will continuously try to influence all our stakeholders and communities, to move towards ecological sustainability.”

The theme will include understanding the evolution of Green IT, how it is significant within Wipro, what should be the priorities and how to maximize the energy-efficiency within the company. It builds the business case for Green IT with few case studies being discussed.

Wipro campuses and offices have adopted ecological sustainable initiatives in energy, water, waste management and preservation of biodiversity. In energy efficient solutions and processes air conditioning solutions and power saving initiatives for computer systems are in practice. Awareness is being created on use of paper and benefits of recycling paper. Employee awareness programmes are rolled out periodically to make them more aware of sustaining ecology and involve them in organization’s initiatives.
